Creating your account

  1. Open the Invitation email you received from the EQAO Assessment system. This will expire after 7 days.
  2. Follow the directions in the e-mail you received: 
    1. Enter the invitation code. 
    2. Fill in your information. 
  3. In the second email you receive, activate your account by following the directions in the account validation e-mail. This will expire after 7 days.

If you did not receive the e-mail invitation, please check your junk or spam folder, or e-mail eqao-support@vretta.com to confirm that the invitation has been sent.

Logging in to your account

  1. Go to the EQAO login page
  2. Click Login under Ontario school administrators and teachers.
  3. Enter the e-mail you used to create your account. 
  4. Enter your password. 
  5. Click Sign In

IMPORTANT 
You must always log in with the email address and password you used to create your account. Your account will be the same from year to year, even if there is a change in school assignment. This login information is different from the administrator’s login for the EQAO data reporting tool.

Logging out of your account 

  1. Click at the top left corner of the page. 
  2. Click Logout.

Resetting your password

  1. Go to the EQAO login page
  2. Click Login under Ontario school administrators and teachers.
  3. Enter the e-mail you used to create your account. 
  4. Click Forgot Password?.
  5. Follow the instructions in the e-mail you will receive.

NOTE
If you provide an e-mail address that does not have an account for our system associated with it, you will not receive a password reset e-mail. If the e-mail does not arrive in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folder.

Managing access to the school account

If you wish to add another school administrator to your school’s account, you may do so by confirming your account and then clicking on Manage access to my school.

  1. Log in to your account. 
  2. Click Manage access to my school.
  3. Click Create New Account to add another school administrator to the school account.  
  4. An invitation email will be sent to prompt the new user to set up an account. 
  5. Click a user and Revoke account to remove an administrator’s access. 
  6. Click Remove yourself as a school administrator if you no longer require access to this school account. Once you remove yourself from a school account, it cannot be reversed without contacting info@eqao.com

If a change does not appear right away, try refreshing your browser.
